Hello. My name is John Irving and I am the man behind JiDesign. I started designing websites over 7 years ago when I told my dad about the great thing that is the world wide web. He saw what the web had to offer in terms of progressing his business forward, and so commissioned me, his teenage son, to make him a website.

If I'm totally honest I didn't have a clue what I was doing. I could not tell you what HTML stood for, I had no idea what protocols meant and if you asked me what MySQL was I'd have thought you'd forgotten what vowels were. I did know one thing however, and that was that good design, design that is modern, up-to-date and fresh will always get you and your company noticed.

So, I have moved on a bit since then (I now know what all those things mean) but I don't expect you to. I will never bore my clients with so much geek speak they think there head will explode. Nor will I ever be one of those creative types who will throw a strop every three minutes unless you agree to doing things the way I want them done. No. I am me, a designer, that's all. My job is to make you look good, not me. I am in the background helping your business shine.

I live and working only in Nottingham, so I get to know my clients needs well. I am a graduate of the University of Nottingham so you know I know how to count. I am good at what I do, so let me do it for you.

Oh and one more thing. Design should not cost the earth. Why should it? It's only one man and a computer. That's why I can guarantee to be the cheapest designer in Nottingham, probably the UK even, look at my price list if you don't believe me
